Are you interseted in Kendo, (art of sword fighting)?
If you are near Burbank, Glendale, and especially in the Pasadena area, please join us at the Pasadena Japanese Cultral Institute Kendo Dojo (PCI) !! I’m a Japanese girl who joined PCI in the past week and I enjoy it very much! The dojo is taught by Maki Miyahara 8th dan ( 8th degree black belt), only in US. Yamasaki sensei, (5th dan ) also teaches as the head instructor at PCI. We really need more kids and especially girls to join our dojo. But Kendo isn’t just about hitting people. So please don’t expect to be easy in the first place. The dojo only takes beginners on January and July. so no walk ins please.
